About the event

Meditation can strengthen areas of your brain responsible for memory, learning, attention and self-awareness. The practice can also help calm down your sympathetic nervous system. Over time, mindfulness meditation can increase cognition, memory and attention.

  • Morning Meditation

    Celebrate Juneteenth weekend by exploring an opportunity to access the benefits of meditation. You will be led through a impactful and quick meditation that includes affirmations, sound bowl healing, and gentle yoga movement. This event is the kickoff of ongoing meditation as we can rewire our minds, support our emotional health, and feel a release in our physical body with an ongoing meditation practice.
